Using immersive soundscapes, stylized acting, and notes of music theater, Horse Play creates a new, visceral theatrical environment. Horse Play is an absurdist dark comedy about a boy, Milton, and his horse. His mom, Kathleen, is distraught at the atrocity her son has brought into her home. Milton moves out and Kathleen seeks help and empathy from her friends Beatrice and Uncle Henry, but regardless, Milton’s love does not end. With influences from Brecht and Beckett, Horse Play explores the uncanny love and ambition inherent to human nature.
